Episode II of LIFE in PRISON!
There was an attack of migraine during my 100 level days in the university. Little did I realise the seriousness of the disease until I started spitting blood! I was scared and the next reasonable step was to leave for a good hospital like UCH in Ibadan. But my wife suggested otherwise by introducing Tibbu Nabawi-Prophetic Medicine (PM) to me. She suggested we call a brother who has a Prophetic Medicine Clinic. A sum of Three Thousand Naira saved a SOUL as the migraine mysteriously disappeared on the third day of medication without trace!
There was a diagnosis of diabetes which degenerated into insomnia. After two weeks as a hospital patient, my ever-caring mother became sleepless for over a month. Hence I prepared my mind for the worst…. The prophet’s hadith, that Allah has not created a disease without a cure, renewed my hope. I informed my PM Practitioner about the situation but he recommended that my brother remain in the hospital for antibiotics. He told me to come with two thousand naira only and immediately I got there he asked one of his staff members to mix honey with black seed and few other ingredients and give to me. Few days later, my brother was out of hospital, hale and hearty. Allahu Akbar! The doctor was happy that his effort eventually yielded results. About a week later, there was another case of tetanus at the hospital but the patient could not survive it. Then, I considered it reasonable to keep the doctor abreast of our clandestine step! When informed, the doctor said, ‘There are certain cases where we need such people; you will take me to him in order to facilitate a relationship with him’. Allahu Akbar!
TYPES of PROPHETIC MEDICINE (PM)
Prophetic Medicine refers to words and actions of the Prophet with a bearing on disease, treatment of disease, and care of patients… (Prof. Dr O. H. Kasule Sr). PM can be divided into Preventive and Curative Prophetic Medicine. Preventive PM includes prophetic supplications on specific matters, general du’a-prayer, and other measures such as food proportion and exercise, quarantine for epidemics, non-permissibility of stagnant water urination and regular use of tooth stick for oral medicine and so on. On the other hand, Curative PM can be spiritual in the case of exorcism and general RUQYAH-special prayer or physical by treating ailments with honey, black seed, black seed oil, olive oil and ginger et cetera.
